FAQs
What should I bring for doggy day care?
We require all dogs to come in on a leash. We also strongly recommend a collar with a name tag. If you have signed up for a city or nature walk, we do require either a harness or collar that your furry friend cannot back out of.
If your dog does require medication or meals during day care, please bring those as well. You can find more information about meals and medications within our Doggy Day Care section.
What should I bring for overnight cat boarding?
We do require all cats to arrive in a carrier. We also ask that you bring their food. We do have high quality food we can provide at a cost. Please also bring any medications or dietary supplements your kitty requires.
What are the vaccination requirements?
All dogs for doggy daycare are required to have the following vaccinations - Bordetella, Distemper, Parvo, Rabies.
All cats for overnight boarding are required to have the following vaccinations - FVRCP, Rabies
We also require all dogs and cats to be current on flea treatment.
Can I bring toys?
For our overnight cat boarding, we would love for you to bring 1-2 toys so your cats feel most at home.
We do not accept toys for our doggy day care. While toys are fun, dogs can become possessive, creating high tension situations. Because of this, toys are not allowed in our doggy day care.
Do you accept aggressive dogs?
Yes - However, they won’t be introduced into our public play sessions.
Some dogs can be a bit more on the edgy side, and that’s okay! Sometimes all they need is a little solo time to recharge and relax. At Pawsitive Vibes, we understand that not every pup thrives in a highly stimulating environment. That’s why we’ve created a cozy space for these furry friends to enjoy some peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. We also have packages available to provide solo-walks in the surrounding neighborhoods or parks to ensure they get their daily dose of exercise.
Why are your prices higher than other facilities in town?
Because of the size of our facility, we accept smaller numbers of dogs and cats. The play groups are smaller, meaning close supervision and more one-on-one attention given by our caregivers.
Do you offer overnight boarding for dogs?
Not at this time.
Do you accept any other animals for overnight boarding?
Along with our feline friends, we do offer boarding services for a variety of small, friendly household pets. Prices start at $20 per night and vary based on pet, level of care involved, and cage/aquarium size. We require you to bring their cage, aquarium, and usual feed.
